Farmers Markets
Tualatin Valley’s Farmers Markets are Open for the Season!
Summertime is market season, and Tualatin Valley’s farmers’ markets are teeming with fruits, vegetables, plants, and so much more, all collected from the farms and fields of the region. Goods range from herbs and flowers to cheese and baked delicacies. The farmers’ markets, just a short trip from nearby Portland, are also more than food; they offer entertainment such as live music, chef demonstrations and kids’ activities.
On almost any day of the week during summer months, there’s a farmers’ market somewhere here. Lush strawberries, gorgeous flowers and leafy vegetables are tops during the early weeks, while mid-summer introduces blueberries, apricots, peaches, cucumbers and tomatoes.
